ok, so right now im on a clean bulk.No soda, no candy, no saturated fats, atleast a gallon of water a day, lots of fruits, and lots of protein. It's been close to a month and a half of my bulk up and ive noticed good results...ive gained muscle size and somehow lost stomach fat....
ok so heres where im really confused....
2 days ago i had to go out to eat for my moms bday we went to eat at applebees... i havent had a cheat meal since the time i was on my bulk so i thought mabye ill have a cheat meal...so i ended up ordering: fried shrimp, probably 20 pieces, small bowl of brown rice, and a quarter cup of coleslaw
so i ended up eating all this and by the time i got home i felt really guilty about eating the cheat meal ...so i ended up going out for a run at 12 a.m. I ran close to 6 miles in 55 min, guessing i burned prolly anywhere 400-650 calories, that night and i went to sleep prob an hour later..
so yesterday after my workout i weighed my self and i couldnt believe my eyes... i gained exactly 2 pounds!!!
2 days before i weighed 138.2 and yesterday i weighed myself 3 times and they all read 140.2?!?!?!?
(and the scale wasnt messed up...its an electronic scale and i was wearing the exact same thing as 2 days before)
so how is this possible how did i gain 2 pounds in one day?!?!?!?!

theres no reason he cant weigh himself 5x a day if he wants. i think its a good thing cuz then you know how your body responds to different circumstances.
however, OP, you have to REALIZE your body responds differently to different circumstances. for example, HELLO, YOU HAD A CHEAT MEAL. you probably consumed more sodium in that meal than you have in the past two weeks. lots of sodium=water retention. water retention=you gain 2 lbs overnight.
dont freak out. itll even itself out naturally.
also, you're 16, and weigh 130lbs. 2lbs isnt gunna kill you, especially if you're bulking.WWJD-What Would Jesus Deadlift?

OP- sounds like you may have an unhealthy relationship with food. Feeling excessive guilt prompting you to go runnning at midnight is not normal/healthy behavior. At 16, this is especially troubling. If this pattern continues, I would recommend seeking help.
And btw, the posts mentioning water weight are correct. No sir, I don't like it.

Let's just suppose by some freak accident in the universe you actually gained 2 pounds of pure fat, who cares, it's 2 pounds...

Here is my advice to you
Clean Bulk whenever you can but whenever you have a social gathering or anything with your friends, enjoy a freakin meal with them.
Don't let lifting hinder your mentality or social life.
Gaining weight at your age is not a problem.
Lift Hard, Eat Hard, Rest Hard and you will see results.

Electronic scales suck.
Use a three-sight skin-fold test for most accurate results. If you're on a bulk, don't get so worried if your body weight goes up, either."Compassion, patience, and understanding -- that which each of us requires, therefore what each of us owes."
