whats your f-ball team do for conditioning
just wondering what different schools do for their conditioning
for our's at the end of practice we jog about 1/4 a mile from our school to the middle school on our town, where a huge hill is waiting for us, then we proceed to run up and down the hill. I know this dosent sound hard but it is pretty good at cardio and building up our legs. We also push the sled around and do various other things for conditioning b4 our trek to the hill. So far its been hell this year.
im just wondering how your schools conditioning differs from ours

i play soccer and would consider myself in pretty freakin good cardio shape, and hills STILL kill me everytime. about 15-20 100yd of differing varieties. our coach likes to get us up at 7am on saturdays in the spring for that ****. half the team pukes before leaving. something about the incline is just soul crushing
oh also "triangles". sprint 100 yds, jog 80, walk 40 (in a triangle set up by cones obv). rinse and repeat until ... well i guess depends on how sadistic coach is feeling. can usually count on 45 minutes though.

We do insane **** for conditioning. We do a dynamic warm up, then 5 10 yard sprints, 5 20 yard sprints, 4 30 yard sprints, then some 50 yard sprints, then we have this ridiculous hill behind our field so we run up that about 15 times, and we get more hills if some of the team dosent try hard enough, so we almost every time do more. Then we usually call it a practice their or we do some band resisted sprints and side steps etc...Alot of **** i know..

Hey You Guuuys!!!
I never understand this.
Why would your coach make you jog 1/4 mile, and call that conditioning? I simply can't see how this could possibly replicate conditioning during a game. Maybe if you're a bench player, and the coach needs you to get some gatorade from the locker room, and you have exactly 2 1/2 minutes to get there... but there is also a hill you have to go across.

depended
during offseason
mondays: 6 40yd dashes, 6 50yd dashes, 6 resistance 40yd dashes, 6 40yd dashes
tuesdays: 10 110's, 8 80's, 5 50's, 10 10's
wednesday: 16 110's
thursday: usually we did position drills and a 1-2mile run
every day, prior to the conditioning we did plyo's and position drills
during the season:
monday: 5 gasers.. which was running across the width of the field.... there back, there back is equal to one.
tuesdays: 4 corners each group of positions starts in a corner, and u run around the entire field.. usually did 5
wednesday: 10 50yd sprints
if we had a bad practice we would go do position conditioning after that... for example: the oline would go hit the sled nonstop for 10minutes

normally we dont run a lot until july camp we usually hit about 6-8 gassers a day then triples start in august after the first practice we dont run second practice we run about 8 gassers. Most we ran was 14 set the record. We also run after the third practice run about 10 110's. That goes on for about a week. Regular season Monday-Half gassers tuesday-gassers wednesday-Victory lap thursday- Pre game we dont run at all. We condition more during practice then after with swarming to the ball and stuff. **** works thats why we have won 10 state titles and are a power house in illinois

I hear you on that one. 6AM winter workouts blew so badly. You would have to wake up around 5:45AM, and it was below 20 degrees.

We warm up by jogging a mile. then we do a timed 2 and a half mile run. then we do 400 yard sprints. then end with a 2 mile cooldown. sometimes we add in 220 yard bear crawls.

I appreciate it. Haven't had a chance to get it updated with school lately, but going to start making daily posts.
