Question Better to do increasing or decreasing weight between sets?

I was wondering whats the difference/benefits to increasing weight between sets versus decreasing weight.

What I currently do for example is increasing:

    1st set: 20lbs
    2nd set: 25lbs
    3rd set: 30lbs

Is it better to do that or start out with higher weight and decrease as you go on?

Do a warm up with very little weight, then each set increase weight. Don't ask me why because I don't know. I assume it puts your muscles under lots of stress which is good for growth. Staying at the same weight doesn't achieve this as good. (not that I'm an expert, just going by what I've read.)

Generally increasing. I know that on the bench I sometimes do 4-5 sets of high reps (15) with minimal rest and I gradually decrease in weight...

Smile Decreasing is good to burn fat!

I do the Maximum of repetitions that I can with the maximum weight that I can, then decrease 5-10 pounds and do the maximum repetitions with that weight, I repeat this until I get to 10 pound or so. This is a lot of repetition and my muscles get exhausted, but I can lift really heavy weight and burn lot of calories. I do not know if this is a good way, but it works for me.
