i've been working my flexability too for exactly this reason. its something you cant do overnight. it takes months for your flexability to get better. yoga is really good for it, as you'll learn different types of stretches which you can use.

basically anything that stretches your hips and groin are best. hamstring stretches are also good. if your going to stretch around the knees, be very careful, as i pushed myself too far and did damage to my right knee which took about 8 weeks to heal.

eddie bravo and tenth planet jiu jitsu have a few different stretches they like to use

the basic stretches i do are butterfly splits, touch my toes and head to your knee(make sure you keep your shoulders back), thigh stretches, and there's a few others, but i cant really explain them to well without showing you.
