Melvin looks to stay the same size each year with the same posing routine. Not sure how that is going to work out for him at this year's Olympia where all the top pros are back from injury, family issues, and ready to go.

Seems like Branch is beginning to diet down now. His lats have come up tremendously. Legs still huge. Arms seems to have gotten slightly larger, but we'll have to see what they look like on stage. Just have to restate how much wider his back has gotten over the past 3 years. I can very well see him in the top 5/6 this year. I don't think Tony can hang with him any longer, nor will Silvio be able to. If Wolf comes in anything like he did last year, I think Branch can take him out too. But if Wolf can come in 10lbs heavier I think he'll place over Branch. Those two will be a great match up.

Besides Phil and Kai no one has made more improvements the past few years than Branch. The guy just continues to come in better and better. He clearly doesn't have the best genetics in the IFBB, but he is creeping up on people, especially with his back, one of my favorite FBD's. I have him around 5 or 6 this year as well.

I'm a huge fan of Branch Warren and believe he has a great, freakish physique but I only wish he didn't have such lacking forearms. I think it lends itself to why he doesn't look as good as he could in certain some of his poses. Perhaps it's a genetic issue? He always had decent forearms but if only they could be a bit bigger to be in proportion with the rest of him.

I don't understand why Melvin has took the whole year off just to look exactly the same as normal unless it is a conditioning thing. He would have a legit chance of breaking top 6 again if he comes in conditioned and improved his chest and quads. Branch though looks sick he isn't playing around, really hope he does crack the top 6 he is a true freak.

You're right, his quads are defined when he flexes too.

Regardless, he needs to re-evaluate everything. He's been treading "water" (lol... sigh) for too long and if he doesn't make some noticeable improvements then he's going to be getting the same results.

ya i noticed this too man, always starts out doing slow artsy poses then goes into hip-hop/b-boy routine and does that leaning back move. Its cool the first time but year after year really starting to get dull
