    How to get deep cuts on abs?

    I've always had trouble with getting the deep separation between my abs even when I'm lean. How the hell do ppl do it???

    Good chance for most people is it's just genetics that determines the separation, best thing you can do is heavily weighted ab exercises, as you would do with any other muscle. That and a low bf%.

    Low bf% will show your abs, exercises will help them become bigger and show more.

    Your abdominal muscles are like any other muscle group. Not only do they require work, you have to FEED them. You can crunch your ass off, if you don't feed them they can not grow. Heavy cable and incline crunches work well.

    Try doing weighted crunches. Go as many reps as you can with a 35lbs plate behind your head. Try this for awhile, while having a good diet. It should increase the size of your abs, that should help to get the deep ridges and valleys.
