Maintaining muscle size or the pumped look after workout.

After Im done working out my arms etc look great. I walk around in my muscle shirt with confidence. The next day they are back to normal, deflated. Im slowly making progress no doubt but is there anything ( supplements etc ) to help keep the muscle size after working out.
Im currently taking protein shakes and mutli vitamins.

For me, nitric oxide works better than creatine for the extended pump.
I took satur8 tabs for a few weeks and my whole upper body looked pumped whether I worked out or not.

Neovar works well for me too.

The only way to keep the pump/size you get while training is to keep training so that you reach that pump size. The only downfall is that when you reach that size, then when you are pumped at your new size you will want that new pump size that comes alone with the new size you gained from training

So it is a revolving door, you will never stay within the size you get while pumped

Not that I have ever done this, but staying lean makes you look pumped even when you aren't.
Yorkshireman I: Right! I had to get up in the morning, at ten o'clock at night, half an hour before I went to bed, eat a lump of cold poison, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill and pay mill-owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our dad would kill us and dance about on our graves, singing Hallelujah!

Doing a serch for Creatine in the BB store I came across this: Xtra Advantage Creatine Serum, Helps Maintain Muscle Mass! All The Benefits Without The Side Effects!

Are there or have anyone experianced side effects from taking Creatine. Would you recomend the serum or the powder.

I use ON pre-load creatine during workouts...because its easy to mix...but the cheapest way to go is good quality "Creatine Monohydrate" powder...I use the ON but there are lots on the market....Creatine seems to work best with a Carb. carrier...so the calories can be a problem....

I just started using Creatine for the first time ever only about 2 - 3 weeks ago, and it's amazing stuff alright, but yeah, drink lots of water - I didn't get any headaches, but I got amazing contractions and pumps in the gym, (especially if you drink right before lifting or during).
Then, when I went to start my incline bench presses, and as I squared my shoulders back, I got a cramp in my left trap. Ouch. Not enough water and/or potassium, I guess.

But you can't keep that pumped/inflated look 24/7. Creatine helps though. I bought the el-cheapo stuff, GNC Creatine Monohyrate powder, and it works. It's also pretty tasty and only 5 calories a serving.

I have found a re-feed day helps if I am on a calorie restricted diet.
I will be deficient in glycogen, then do a refeed day and for a couple days afterwards my muscles feel inflated and harder than they had been.

Like someone else has already said.....no one will keep a pump 24/7..........but........I have found that when I eat enough clean foods, get enough sleep and drink enough water.......my pumps are much harder and they last much longer than when either one is lagging.........

This forum may very well be dead, just 6 or so years late, but for anyone else looking around I used to have excellent results with the original dark matter during workouts. I would take C4, and half a serving of whatever creatine I had at the time 30 minutes before. Other half after with the other half of the dark matter. I seem to recall always feeling much denser. Which was nice during rugby. From what I've heard though dark matter has changed their recipe and now it's just vomit inducing garbage. I'm just now returning to heavy training after having multiple tumors removed, which really sucks because I missed that dark matter.

NO. It's full of blood when pumped up. It would be like walking around with a boner all day.

If you put in the effort it's not a matter of if, but when.

If his PHD is worth crap, the first advice he should give for looking bigger outside of the gym would be to add more muscle mass. That would be a pretty sure fire way to look bigger.

Buying a bunch of supps to try a bloat a small frame seems to be a much easier attempt at size, but worthless. But who am I to advise people on how to spend their money.

And lol at this thread being bumped a second time. Ops twig arm needed a steady regimen of heavy weights, not supps. Hopefully 8 years later he's added some mass to that thing.
