3 month cut progress pics... bf %?
Already posted the side pics in the 'losing fat' forum, didn't even think to post them in here until now.
Any comments appreciated... also, can anyone give a rough estimate of my BF %? Thanks!

Not as clean as i'd liked it to be, but I used to eat deep fryed foods atleast once a day, fast food once every other day so it's a big step forward. I've stopped using my deep fryer completely and cut the eating out to once a week... and when I do eat out I make sure to get atleast come kind of grilled chicken or something high on protein.
breakfast is usually 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1/2 2% milk, spenda, 3 eggs.
workout
pwo protein shake
sugar free jello snack or natty pb jelly sandwich
slices of lean turkey on whole wheat bread
2 or 3 skinless boneless chicken breasts
thats usually around 1600-1700. I try to get around 2000-2100 so I'll through some more turkey or chicken breasts in if i come up short or just snack on peanut butter if i got enough protein for the day.

Nah you're around 11%. I'm 5'11" and 167, hovering around 13%. Our ab definition is about the same but you have a little bit better vascularity.
You have some big legs, eh? My 3 lb difference looks like a 10 lb difference in upper body...
Nonetheless, good work.

I'm sorry people but I'm being honest. He's not at 11%...he lacks overall muscle which makes a huge difference in body fat testing.
Yes, he's got some abs...which you can have at 15%. He has not cuts in the arms, no striations in the delts, no cuts on the chest...(based on the 1st pic) I'm being honest...this is what I do.

Agree ^. I was thinking 15% at least or higher. Many people on here don't know what 10% or 11% is. There is a big difference. Plus abs shots in most threads are flexed. So obviously others think they got lower BF% because they can see abs. That is like if someone flexed their bicep and asked for BF% vs. not flexing.
Just telling it like it is.

Muscle has nothing to do with body fat levels. Do you see any muscle on this guy? He has 3% body fat.

That said however, I do think he's got a higher body fat percentage than what people are suggesting. I just think your reasoning is wrong.

That looks nothing like the OP. Yes when you reach skeleton and have no fat and no muscle, you will obviously have low BF%.
However, people have the misconception that you can use the "I see abs and therefore I have X BF% because that is just the rule" theory. Or people will use bodyfat calipers and pinch their skin in agony to pump up or down in this case, their BF% levels. The only real legit test is underwater test. The density of muscle and fat do not lie.
Many football players collegiate or professional as well as NBA included that have active positions carry bodyfat at around 10%. So somehow everyone on here gets rated at ~10% when they carry neither the shreddeness or muscle mass to even be close to them. Many of the people on here that don't have fat bellies and show signs of abs are not 10% IMO but around 15%. That is the truth. Look at Jay Cutler the bodybuilder in the offseason and he is around 8% year around (especially this year). So 2% more at 10% and you get guys in here?

I'm not sure what that has to do with my post? I'm simply proving that you don't have to have muscle to have low bf%.

Never had any caliper test done and honestly probably won't. I'd rather use the mirror as the judge at this point... I really don't even care much about what the scale says, since on paper losing 6 pounds in 3 months is terrible... but it seems like a much bigger difference in the mirror. Just looking for some input from others, regardless of it being good or bad.
Only one person has said 10% in this thread, and I agree thats a lil too low. These threads really are hit and miss though, I've seen some people that I would swear they where 15+ and everyone said 9-11. and I've seen some that looked really lean around 10 and people say 14-15+.
And thank god to whoever said that skeleton didn't look anything like me lol.

Omg I wasn't comparing the OP to a skeleton...who has no body fat or muscle left on his frame...jesus...
All I said was he lacks overall muscle, needs more definition to the muscle he carries now, and holds a little more body fat that one would think.
To the OP...body fat numbers mean s***! Use measurements, progress pics and the mirror as your guide. You're def on the right track!!

It took you 3 months to lose 6 pounds lol? Dang man I would get impatient. You could have lost that in like 6 weeks. With that said... Awesome transformation. I am looking to do the same thing soon. =]
