Out of town on P90X - what to do?
Starting tomorrow is the beginning of week 5 for me on P90X. I just came off my recovery week, and i'm feeling great. One issue. I'm leaving Saturday morning at 4 am for a wedding in NC and won't be back til Monday night (real late). I'll miss Saturdays strength workout, Yoga on Sunday and the strength workout for Monday as well. I'll be in a crowded hotel room and can't bring any dumbbells with me (i'd go over my flight weight limit REAL fast, haha) and so I kinda can't do them. I'm at a loss at what I can do. I don't want to change up the week, since rest days on Wednesday really work well for my schedule. Anyone have this problem before, and what did you do to remedy it?
Oh, and the workout facilities at the hotel are 4 treadmills and an elliptical, lots of help.

I wouldn't worry about it, just try to jog a bit, and keep your diet on point, and come back and start a little later in the week.

Can you get some bands from Target or Sports Authority? Much easier to travel with those. I just started the program on Monday so I haven't done all the workouts, but so far they have all been doable with just a chinup bar and bands. Also, my chinup bar could be disassembled and might fit into a suitcase?

This is a good alternative if you're truly stuck with no access to any kind of dumbbells. On all the P90X vids, you will see some dude performing the workout using bands. While it would not be my first choice, in a pinch (traveling) I think it would let you stay current with the program.
Peace.

a thought
if you cant find any alternative to the problem, my advice would be to skip the days, go along with the routine as normal, picking up where you would be at if you hadnt skipped at all. then simply add an extra week to the phase before moving to the recovery week. in the guide it says its perfectly fine to add a week or two to the program. just dont exceed 6 weeks of any phase.
