Holy hell, dying at 26 is way too early. Hope it's not true. This would the biggest death in bodybuilding this year by far. Inb4 people start debating if it was nature (genetics) vs nurture (life style choices).

A great loss to the community. He was progressing exceptionally well and was one of the strongest pros.
True, he's had health issues but we cannot attribute his untimely death to his methodologies just as yet.

It's interesting how when it comes to bodybuilders, it's the truth is difficult to get out.
Branch Warren, tore his quads slipping on the sidewalk (probably a gym accident)
Rich piana, in a coma because he randomly passed out (probably drug overdose)

Sad to hear that he went choking on food from what Im reading. I choked on steak once and it was one of the scariest experiences of my life. You think it's the end and enter panic mode. I was fortunate enough to have somebody around that knew how to heimlichMS, Computer Science

Im actually inclined to believe bodybuilders like branch having these silly accidents and ripping muscle from the bone. When you train so hard in one dimensions you don't function very well in 3 lol. Bodybuilding is pretty damn unhealthy in terms of movement and functionality thats why we see so many silly injuries.Originally Posted by bartosh

O man Im sad over this and puts things more in perspective. Dallas lived 35 minutes from me , where he is from. He was at my second show in 2012 Hub city. where he did his first show the year before
, I met his girlfriend where she told me her bf is Dallas in an elevator. Anyways Dallas and I talked and he was kind to me and invited me to train with him. Im so sorry to Josh L that had to find him like this.
Dallas seemed very humble. I watched a video of his where his grandfather died, and he started to cry. This is just so sad. Dallas and Ramy are my boys. I always wished the best for Dallas he seemed like a real chill dude and had huge potential. This is just so sad.
Also for Josh this must have been a terrible experience finding your mate like that and you being helpless.

It's very sad news... I recently watched a video interview with Dallas, he impressed me with being bright, personable, and humble. I'm very saddened to hear this terrible news.
.... but... not to be the devil's advocate... they say he choked on his food? That was the immediate conclusion. They said he chocked on his food and no one was around... If nobody was there, how did they know he choked on his food? That has to be witnessed, or discovered in an autopsy, whether or not there was an obstruction to an airway passage with inhaled food?
Of course it's possible, but not likely... Just say'in....The stupidest thing a bodybuilder can ever do, is to keep trying to look like a bodybuilder when he gets older. If he does, he'll wind up with "RIP" after his name.
