Benefits of Caffeine Supplement?
Hey I did a search but couldn't find anything on Caffeine and fat loss. On my supplement site it says Caffeine can aid fat loss, but when is the best time to take it??

Caffeine like all stimulants is an appetite suppressant, and increases metabolic rate a few percent. It may help with losing the last few kg but it is no miracle.

Is it good before a workout on an empty stomach?

it'll give people an energy boost, you can take it all you want
just remember, all the exercise, cardio, and supplements in the world won't help unless you have your diet and willpower in check
if you do browse most "fat burners" they'll contain some sort of variety of caffeine or yohimbe, both are stimulants and both are not needed to lose fat

Studies show caffeine lowers insulin levels, increases heart rate temporarily (thus increasing metabolism), it's a good diuretic, that's about all I can think of now. I wouldn't rely primarily on the caffeine for fat loss though, I think you should work on your diet more if you havn't already.

My diet is quite good, I've lost 57lbs in a year from following 40p40c20f. I could definately eat more protein tho - I'm not having enough calories. Anyway I'm just looking at different options that will boost it a bit.
