not exactly...
what you want to do is lose fat plain and simple definition comes with growth which isn't the easiest thing to do while cutting fat.
personally i don't advise that program that you were saying, and it sounds like you just started not too long ago(not bad mouthing you here) if that is true you may just have had a beginner's boost wherein yes doing almost anything will give you results.
if you don't have too much fat on your body my best advice is to keep bulking do that same workout if you like it and it's working for you, if you'd like i'd be more than happy to tell you what has worked for me and i see work for many other people.
