ANOTHER cardio question...
due to time constraints it is easiest for me to lift in the afternoon (after work). thus the only time i can do cardio would be immediately after my lift OR first thing in the morning before work.
I have been doing cardio in the morning (outside jog, ~25min, low-med intensity). before i jog, i have a protein shake, that contains 27g protein, 2g fat, and 3g carbs. my question is, would it be better to do HIIT (treadmill) for about 20min in the morning, again after that shake, continue what I am doing (low-med intensity after shake), OR something else altogether?
to make it any easier, my goals are to lose some bf%, but i dont want to lose any muscle at all (is that even possible?)

Try doing the HIIT before the shake, in the morning.

well the shake doesnt serve as my breakfast. i have been doing the shake, cardio, then shower and then eat a breakfast, which comes out to being about 20-25min post cardio.
i do think i will probably switch over to the HIIT though instead of the simple jog outside.
anyone else with any experience or tips?

I would advise against doing HITT before your shake...you will not burn more bf
by doing any activity fasted[Im assuming its fasted as you provided no other diet info]
ESPICALLY A "HIGH INTENSITY ONE"
long story short WOULD YOU NOT THINK THAT SOMETHING THAT CAUSES YOU TO BUST YOUR ASS BE MORE EFFECTIVE AT BURNING BF?
AND IF YOU AGREE WITH MY ABOVE STATEMENT WOULD YOU ALSO AGREE THAT
FOOD PRIOR TO THE HITT WOULD ALLOW YOU TO GO HARDER?[THUS BURNING MORE TOTAL BF
OVERALL
HITT CARDIO ALL THE WAY
HOWEVER DONT DISCOUNT THE EFFECTIVENESS OF LISS

Hey,
Do HIIT right after your weight workout. The main reason is because you'll burn more FAT doing your cardio right after your weights and if you really have time after weights I would do it then...saves you the time in the morning for other stuff..

Check out this link brah!! http://www.answerfitness.com/320/car...-fitness-nerd/
Personally I do cardio after my lifting session. There's alot of good pointers and things to consider/ask yourself in the link above.
Hope this helps!

it wouldnt be on a completely fasted state, id have the shake before hand.
based off what everyone is saying though, looks like HIIT cardio is better, just not first thing in the morning.
