Looking great for 6 weeks out! Upper body is looking solid. You're holding a little bit in the lower ab area and lower back...which is totally normal at this point.
Can we get a leg pic?
For research purposes of course
Good luck!!

Thanks a lot everyone. Appreciate it. There is still a bit of fat in the lower back. Shouldn't be a problem getting rid of it with six weeks to go. I will get some leg shots this weekend. They are tighter then my upper body as my legs have always been my best body part.
Carl - Haven't talked to Tim at all. I thought I read on his board that he was doing the NABBA Nationals this year.

Doing the NPC Masters Nationals.
I agree about the abs. Unfortuneately I wasn't blessed with the most genetic mid section. I have improved it a lot over the last year but it is still a problem area. I guess everyone has a weak body part and mine is my abs.

Six weeks out, you're looking great and right on track.
At the rate you are going, you'll do some serious damage to them onstage on contest day!
Good luck and keep us posted!
Ron III---III
P.S. where is the contest going to be held?

Thanks for the comments everyone. I really appreciate it.
I wanted to be ready early because I want to dry run the last week one or two times. There are a few things I want to try and don't want to risk the week of the contest if they don't work.
I will keep posting pics so you can see the progression. I will get some leg shots in there too Kimm4 when the owner of the gym isn't looking....lol
Thanks again

What type of diet are you on to reduce body fat? Do you do cardio on a restricted carb diet? I need to reduce about 12 lbs BF but have hit a wall and I am trying to avoid muscle loss.

If you don't mind sharing. What are thinking of? Always curious how competitors approach the final weeks.
I agree with you in doing an early dry run. I try not to change to much the final week for I found it only f's with me.
Above and beyond pulling the remaining "minor" lower back fat off I would be very happy stepping on stage as is.
You will be very competitve.
Again best to you....

Good to hear from you Steve. I usually post here and IM. Keith is not doing the show this year. He has some personal stuff going on. He will be up for it though and then we are going to his house in Florida for two weeks after the show.

I carb cycle. Typically three low/one high and then two low/one high. Fat intake is extremely low always as I cannot get lean when I have any fat in my diet. I keep cardio at 240 to 270 minutes a week usually done in the morning on an empty stomach.

I really want to experiment with the carb depletion and carb up. I feel in the past that I never came in full enough. Always about 90% filled out. I want to experiment with higher GI carbs too. I think the problem was that I would go almost 0 carbs for three or four days. Way too low and the result was that I just couldn't fill back out once I started carbing up.
