    Weight of chains

    5/8 inch chains weigh around 40 lbs. I know that but how much do 3/8 inch chians weigh?? Does anyone know? I dont trust my scale it is always off and fluctuating.

    3/8" chains weight about 1.5lbs per foot length.

    I just used Google, if you buy online thats listed as the shipping weight for 3/8".

    I also have a chart somewhere too.
