Personally, I think she was using the "age" card to get out of the ticket.
The cop was in a no win situation. If he cuffed her roughly she would have sued for police brutality on the elderly. Using the taser was the most effective way of controlling the old hag without further incident.

I totally agree she was out of the line....but if one officer can't handle a 72 year old lady without tasering.....they aren't doing their job.
I unfortunately have been put to the ground by a cop....its not that hard to subdue someone when you know what your doing....he didn't even try....
You would not be hearing about this...if he had just put her on the ground...and cuffed her.
