Seriously think they are more intelligent, more experienced, or better educated than Barack Obama?

Just curious, because I'm seeing a lot of threads that imply he is stupid or uneducated.

I am more intelligent. I went to a better school (for undergrad), on a full scholarship, and I didn't need affirmative action to be admitted.

I went to Stanford and majored in Mechanical Engg. I don't make much money right now ($50K/year)

I know that Im not smarter, more experienced, and better educated than him. That doesnt mean that I can't figure out that adding trillions of dollars to our debt by spending it on stupid, unproductive **** will not help us. Not sure how Obama and his supporters don't see that though.....

dude, Bush went to Yale in like the 70's or something, his pops became Prez in 1988. Plus he went to Harvard Business School, didn't try for Harvard Law I think

Intelligence is measured in many ways. Being book smart doesn't mean a person can perform well when in a courtroom, trying to make a sale, trying to get laid by a hot woman, making decisions about how to schedule employees, etc. All of those take different types of intelligence.

The President (take your pick) largely makes decisions based on what advisers tell him, what Congressional leaders demand, wanting to be popular amongst voters, the list goes on.

I'm no Republican yet I think if I were President I would be doing a worse job than Obama with foreign leaders while making the better decisions to tell Congress to piss off with their ideas that sound good but will ultimately wreck the economy.

Ummm, Bush graduated from Yale in '68 (HW wasnt Pres til the 80s), and HW didnt even get involved in politics until 1964 when he was a Republican Party chairman of a county in TX. Bush didnt get into Yale because of his dad's political ties.

The thread was inspired by GoutDeMiel's thread. I assumed GoutDeMiel was a Republican due to their stance. They're not a Republican; fine.

I've seen other threads to this effect, but the search function is broken & doesn't order by date properly, so recent ones are difficult to find (you can find a bunch of older ones by search->obama + stupid). But perhaps those weren't created by Republicans, either.

Regardless of that, Bush Jr's dad was a Yale alumnus & a well-connected wealthy oil man. Yeah, I think that has an impact on admissions.

By the time he went to Harvard, his dad was a powerful congressman and a couple of years away from directorship of the CIA.
