Red face Lift heavy or do high reps during a cut???

    Hi all,
I've been lifting moderate weights at high reps, 4 sets of 15-20, during my cut phase. I just wanna keep the muscle i gained during my bulk and lose the fat. Am i doing this right? I read on some other thread that to lose fat you need to lift heavy weights. Please help! Thanks!

8-12 rep range is pretty popular.

I like a 4-10 rep range for myself...just works better for me.

    Yup...keep it heavy.

Lyle McDonald has an article on this very topic right now on his bodyrecomposition website. A really good read.

I keep it as heavy as I can with the reduced calories. I try to stay in the 6 - 8 rep range, but will mix in higher rep (16) exercises as well.
