If you guys had a cousin, a friend or someone that was planning to marry a guy and you were invited to the wedding, would you go? Or because of how you feel you wouldnt attend? Just curious what would be you reaction.

I probably wouldn't be overjoyed for them but I'd go. The institute of marriage is just a product of out society, and being non-religious myself I think its just another social convention. While I don't approve of homosexuality I think people should be allowed their freedom as long as it doesn't infringe upon that of others. At the end of the day if someone is my friend I assume it would be for good reasons so yes I would attend their ceremony.

This has happened to me b4. My gay cousin got married, I was invited, I declined (made up an excuse). This was about 5 years ago maybe (yes homophobe)

Since than my outlook on life is much different. I now figure what's the point in hating on everyone and everything. As long as their happy who gives a sh*t. Doesn't effect my life at all if he's gay and married. Life is too short to be a prick like that (no homophobe)

If they are a friend I will support them even if in gay marriage. I would go, gay dudes usually have a lot of hot female friends... many strait drunk women + few strait drunk men = win. Most of the dudes there will be gay so the odds will be in your favor there too.

Yeh the influence of a strong father figure is important to a child. I don't know if their upbringing can be compared to that of a child with a single mother but in any case its not good

yeah thats interesting.

both the mother and father play important roles on how kids develop. I know so many kids that grew up with dysfunctional family's and they turned out to be total burnouts. This isn't always the case obviously, but majority of the time it most certainly is.
