"BUT... it's way too easy to get caught up in all this ****ing minutia- like the kids on the Teen forums who won't eat regular peanut butter because it has 4g of sugar or whatever, ATG nazis, obsessing about every part of training, etc. Simplicity works." -101CavGrunt
Yea much better.
But I like the sneakers the best Mike!!! :-o
Glad you support breast cancer, my wife is a surviver.
There were all no doubters. Just in cause my partner Troy was there calling depth. If your not there, he tells you it sucked.
I knew someone would comment on the Chucks, but glad you know why I am wearing them.
Yes, I definitely support breast cancer awareness. I am very happy your wife is doing well.
My LONG time training partner and best friend, PJ's wife has cancer. She was diagnosed a few years ago. Had the surgery did all the chemo, looked like she beat it. Well, it came back and spread. The good news is it has shrunk and shes still fighting. She just had her 40th birthday.
I am wearing the pink Chucks, to honor her, she's the strongest person I know, and she inspires me greatly, and to bring awareness. Luckily I like pink and luckily noone would dare make fun of me in the gym.
I am working on something so I can hopefully raise money through my lifting for breast cancer. She has a cancer walk in October, the same time as a meet here in NY. So I hopefully will have more info soon.
From her 40th birthday party :

Crom Laughs....
So, how long are you gonna keep powerlifting?
- Until they drain my blood out and fill me with embalming fluid I'm gonna do this....
My poor 80 year old grandma has breast cancer, she has made it through chemo once, and im really surprised. She is probably the weakest and frailest old lady you would ever see, she is significantly less than 5 feet with her back hunched over the way it is.
Hate to be the one to say it, but all of those squats were high, including the second video, you're all GM'ing aswell which is almost cutting your depth short it looks like.
The guy with the green converses isn't even stood upright when he unracks it, his elbows are also flaired back like wings.
Second vid the guy in the red shirt is tail tucking as he comes down, so should probably work on flexibility.

I admit the angle on all my vids isn't the best, just can't really get a good one with the camera, but none were high. Wouldn't post them if they were. If you look in the vids, there is a guy kneeling on the side checking depth, thats my coach, Troy. If I was high, he tells me I sucked. He doesn't say that often.
As far as the guy in the red shirt, never heard of tail tucking, but I wouldn't worry about him. I think he knows what hes doing.
But thanks for helping.
