    baked beans=bodybuilding food?

Was just reading the label of a large tin of baked beans, the tin contains 20g of protein, barely any fat and an average amount of calories, why arent baked beans ever mentioned as a bodybuilding superfood?
"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t how hard you hit; it’s about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done. - Sly Stallone (Rocky Balboa)

they are. i eat them all the time. there loaded with fiber protein and complex carbs its just that the protein is a plant source. (dont have all the amino acids in it)

i would eat them with chicken or some kind of meat to get all your aminos.

    yes beans are teh shiz.

srry to hijack thread, but i've hurd that it's good to eat two incomplete protein sources togherther (like beans and rice, pb and bread ect...) becasue it makes a complete protein source. is that true? anyone know

If you're worried about teh sugar feel free to toss em in a strainer and rinse off their sauce. The beans still retain the flavour nicely. Grillin beans are my favorite.
