Norwegian's Second Recovery
Norwegian?s Second Recovery
First off, I?d like to thank CEL for allowing me to review their PCT Assist product. I was chosen in early May, right before going to Colorado, and then with the delayed shipment, the product was received at my parents? in Colorado the day after I left back for Texas. Therefore, they had to ship it to me which took an additional couple of days. I started the product on June 3rd, starting with the suggested dosing; 3 caps twice daily; I dose mine upon waking and again prior to bed. Please forgive my delayed log; it's not like me to do so, but summer school and job applications left me busy all of last week.
I was initially going to use PCT Assist as a part of my Liduidrone recovery, but due to the delay, it will now be used as a ?follow-up? PCT/Testosterone boosting run. Another thing to remark, I broke my hand while in Colorado ? in the middle of PCT - so my training is limited to say the least. However, let me now offer my pros and cons following 4 days of usage of CEL?s PCT Assist.
Pros:
1. More energy throughout the day
2. Better sleep, and feeling more refreshed upon waking.
3. Random wood, and more ?fullness? throughout the day
4. Overall, a greater sense of well-being
5. NO acne
Cons:
1. Stomach troubles ever since product was started. Not just the average stomach ache, but feeling irregularity from morning till evening, which is forcing me to reduce my eating and keep away from certain foods. Numerous trips to the bathroom throughout the day.
In order to try to solve my irregularity issue, I will try to cut the dosing to 2 caps each in AM/PM. I seem to remember something mentioned about an issue like that with higher dosages of some of the ingredients in the PCT Assist, so jumping right into optimal dosing might have been a little too much for myself.
More updates will start coming, including training and diet, which will be focused on legs, abs and lower back for another while. I?ll have the cast on for another 3 weeks, you see. I will also be able to provide some documentation for my injury, if any CEL rep might need so.

Looking good bro. And like emdubya said, give it a try with a meal. Ive never had any stomach issues with it, and I like to take it at 4 caps per serving . but I also dont think Ive ever taken it on an empty stomach as even a multi will give me stomach issues on an empty stomach so I always take my supps with food.

Day 6
Still dosing @ 3 caps AM and 3 caps PM.
The sex drive kick I got the first couple of days has been reduced, but it's still elevated compared to pre-PCT Assist. Always a good thing. Also, greater volume . . . enough said.
NO increase in acne.
Continuously heightened sense of wellbeing throughout the day. I'm very calm in my actions, and don't stress easily, not even with my 6-8 hour long studying sessions (summer school is busy!)
Sleep is deep and great, and I appear to have more frequent dreams that I lay awake pondering on in the early AM.
Had a great leg session today; squats, leg extensions, leg curls, and calf extensions. Very straight forward, but due to trying to drop some weight (for job purposes) I wasn't going all out. Rep range of 15-20, with 3-5 sets each exercises. Also, NO pre-workout drink used any longer, but utilizing BC+EAA (Legal Gear) intra-workout, and it seems to aid in recovery between my high rep/high intensity sets.
With my hand being broken, there's a lot of low-intensity cardio (two 45-60 minute walks with my dog each day), and my training will be focused on legs and abs + lower back.
Calories are reduced as well; 100-150 grams carbs each day, 40-50 grams of fat each day, and 275-300 grams of protein each day.

Man, same thing going on still . .. I won't blame the PCT Assist any longer, though. There is no certain timing after dosing where I have to run to the bathroonm. Issues are less/fewer than this weekend, so all progress should be considered progress, hahaha . . .

Two Weeks In This Second Recovery Using PCT Assist
It's now been two weeks of usage. First ten days, I was using at regular dosing of 3 caps AM/3 caps PM. Last 4 days I've been doing 3 caps AM/4 caps PM. This seems to have made it a little more difficult to get up in the morning, but I insisted on upping the dosing as the sex drive kinda leveled off compared to the first 5-6 days . . .
Here's a quick 2-week review:
Pros:
1. Better sleep; feel more recovered once I get up and start my day, although waking us is difficult more difficult with new dosing
2. Random wood; although it is REAL random. The 'fullness' is varying from day to day . . regardless of how 'on spot' my dosing in the AM and PM is. Loads significantly better, however.
3. Overall, a greater sense of well-being; which also depends on the day. It seems I'm moodier since I bumped the dosing, but I'll deal with it. I spend most hours of my day focusing on summer school anyway, so I'm not of any harm to people.
4. NO acne
Cons:
1. an hour following 4 caps in the PM, I get very warm which makes it slightly more difficult to fall asleep in the evening. But given the fact that this is the only side at the moment, I will not blow it out of proportion.
