    Every other is too much.

IMO you should work it out 2x per week at

I do every other, and have seen gains. Not trying to refute that because I know it works, but isn't this more for if you are designating a day for arms? I.e. doing many exercises for arms opposed to maybe doing 2 or 3 in a session.

Umm im not really sure what you where trying to say.

But anyways, you could work out your tris on Monday and Friday and work out your bi's on wednesday and that would be 3x a week without really overtraining.

I do twice for each main muscle group. Pretty much doubling up every three days. I go for three days, get all the muscle groups in, take one day off and repeat.
Bodybuilding is not weight and repetitions; it’s resistance and absolute muscle failure. It’s not quantitative; it’s qualitative. It’s more mental than physical. It’s more control than rage. It’s the realization that you can always get bigger. ~ bodybuilding

And your arms are what? 14 inches? Not trying to be annoying but if you keep on doing arms every other day your gains will plateau oh so fast...I guarantee it.

6-9 sets for bi's, 9-12 sets for tri's per week. All you need.

Once or twice a week is plenty for all muscle groups.

it doesnt matter, its how you train them. rippetoes and madcows has you squatting 3 times a week, but you dont do a full heavy session every time.

Well keep in mind that in those workouts most people are only working out 3-4 out 7 days of the week, A LOT of rest time in those routines.

Actually haven't measured like, ever. I have found that this routine works best for right now, and when I do finally plateau, I'll switch it up to a 4 day split, so it's not that I don't know what I'm doing, just doing something that works for me at this point.

Arms i think you can train twice a week (i do) but everything else no more than once a week if you are training with enough intensity....

make sure you dont do chest the day after tri's, back after bi's etc etc
