I am trying to loose weight. I currently weigh 277 pounds and I am a 6 ft tall male. I am just unsure of how many grams of whey protein I should consume on a daily basis or if I should use whey protein at all since I am trying to loose weight. I am working out as much as possiable at a gym lifting weights and doing cardio on a tred mill or a bike. I am currently dieting on a low fat, low calorie and low carbs diet. I just am not understanding how I will loose weight when whey protein contains so many calories. Currently i have a protein supplement that for 52 grams is 220 calories.
