i saw at the end of his most recent video blog for wec 41 that they had a meeting and are confident that this thing will happen.

he was gonna tell us today apparently, but due to contracts and negotiations... he cant at this time.

the whole time i was watching the video, it just seemed to me like its a fedor signing.

maybe im just getting my hopes upp...

I imagine it wont be anywhere near as big as what dana is trying to suggest it is. It definitely wont be Fedor or anything like that, its probably just that they are doing an event in some European country they havent been too yet

thats true. its a disappointment most of the time..

but ive heard from several sources that they are in talks with fedor, and things are going well. plus, by the way he said it.. it just seems like it COULD be fedor.... maybe... hopefully

Can they announce a Fedor signing if he still has a contract with Affliction?

I remember when Dana had a similar announcement, which I believe was supposed to be New York sanctioning, however it fell through.

He doesn't have a contract with Affliction, at least I don't think. I think most of Affliction fighters are signed with other companies. Like Tim is signed with Monte Cox and Andrenaline.

I'm not getting my hopes up about it being Fedor...god knows that *** who bumped the old Liddell slip up thread yesterday and I read the interview not seeing the date...the disappointment was severe.

I was under the impression that the contracts are exclusive in the USA, but non-exclusive elsewhere.
