    How many calories should come from my diet?

    Oops, kind of titled the thread wrong

    I was wondering, how do I calculate my total percentage of grams in my daily diet?

    Looking to eat 2800 calories a day or so.

    I am 5 11' and 295 lbs, looking to lose weight and retain the muscle I have.


    I recall that my protein grams should be my bodyweight, so 295 grams of protein? What does that leave for me for carbohydrates and fat? Are fat grams total fat grams, saturated fat, etc?
