Room 101 - What irritates you?
I just watched room 101 (where a celebrity guest is interviewed by a comedian about things that irritate them - very funny), and thought it might be a fun thread. So - what gets on your nerves?
Anything atall.... As many as you'd like - explanations optional...
(no negging or arguing please)

I hate unfaithfulness...
I really don't find it hard when you borrow something to give it back.... I mean I'm being unnecessarily nice to do something, the least you can do is return it....
also if when people accept and say yes they're going.... why cancel LAST second and/or just not show up at all? IS it really hard to just say no you can't or don't want to go rather than have your friends wait for you .... especially when you're the one that comes up with the event
some stuff that irritate me
I also hate suck ups
and immature old people

That was one of the things chosen in the episode I just saw. The host said he was worried that if he agreed it should be put into room 101, the guest (Alan Sugar) would think he was being a suck up.

I hate it when I'm driving MY car and I put my radio on a certain station, and the person sitting in the passenger seat changes it.. WTFFFFF Let me listen to my kelly clarkson lol
I also hate when I'm watching tv in MY room and someone takes the remote when it's next to me and changes the channel during commercials. Don't effin touch my remote. grrr (worse is when they don't want to give it back to you when you ask for it).
I get annoyed as hell when a group of people go out to a restaurant and someone doesn't order because "they're not hungry" and then they eat everyone else's food. Don't be a friggin cheapo/scrub. Or even when I make some food for myself and after I'm done making it, "oh can I have some." It's like...you could've asked me 5 minutes ago and I would've made extra... haskdakdalkdja
I have a feeling this thread is not going to turn out like how the show is funny. lol I just sound angry.
Nice abs btw OP. =)

I tend to get annoyed by little things and not big things for some reason..my biggest pet peeves:
-gum snapping...ahhhhh
-my husband's jaw clicks when he eats
-my dog constantly snaps his jaw open and closed
-people on cell phones in the gym
-shorts with anything written across the butt...lol
-people rummaging in popcorn or opening candy in the movies..lol
-cell phones ringing during my concerts (I'm a band director)
-people that constantly change the tv station or radio station and flip back and forth
big things:
-being 2 faced
-lying
-being rude or mean
-snobs and condescension

People who leave up toilet seats
People who don't return shopping carts and leave them all over the parking lot
Women at the beach who are too big to be wearing bikinis (If they only knew they could look so much better in a one piece seriously...)
Parents who can't control their bratty/screaming children
That's all I got for now...

-Fake people -- the ones that act happy and like they are everyone's friend -- big one for me.
-Guests who txt on their phone the whole time they are over
-Friends on the phone with their bf/gf/SO for 8 hours while you are visiting them -- (yes I know someone who does this all the time)
-People who tailgate you, or tailgate in the SLOW lane.. when there is 2 other lanes wide open for them to get into ..!!!!
-People who, when a two lane road merges into a one lane road due to construction, zoom to the very end so they don't have to wait in the long line (which they are causing worse traffic for everyone else by doing so) <------ HUGE pet peeve....
-When you say something to someone and they ignore you
-People talking on their cells phones at movies/grocery store/retail store when at the cashier
-Teenagers who think they are cool by being loud at the movie theatre/mall etc and want attention.
-Teenagers who smoke because they think they look cool/older
Oh and bitches/snobs/jackasses/dickheads/*******s etc etc etc
and the list goes on.....

I agree with all of these, also...
People who smack their lips in their sleep (okay, I do know they can't help it)
Women who hang their boobs over the counter to get free stuff
Girls who twirl their hair constantly
People who drive all over the parking lot until a spot RIGHT in front is empty
Passive aggressive people

yeah unfortunately I twirl my hair... it's a habit I've had since I was a young young young child... I do it when I'm bored/tired.

I hate people who are friends with you just because you have something, like for eg: Chick I train BJJ with has been funny with me all week until it's time for me to give her a lift home...
Also it was a bday, a few things came up so I couldn't get her bday pressie immediately but thought she'd understand. Then the funny mood started, thought to myself mmmm now I understand.
When she was all friendly/friendly last night to get a lift home, I thought now I really understand....

Right now I'm a little irritated at myself for totally screwing up my sleep schedule and now of course I'm bouncing off the walls and can't get even a wink of sleep.
I agree with Jessica29; there's nothing more irritating than people taking your food. The other day I went to get my chocolate out of the cupboard and 2 rows were missing!! I mean, if you want something of mine you can ****ing ask me not just take it. *SLAP*
Hmm what else...Idiot parents who raise their children without teaching them respect or discipline so that they run around screaming like banshees and doing whatever the hell they want in public places. It's not cute.
Umm...playlist.com having incomplete songs so that when I find one I really like and get all excited about, it stops after 20 seconds in. Boo-urns.
Stubborn, closed minded people.
Religious demonstrators/protesters who try to push their crap onto everyone else...I want to run up to them and break their retarded signs over my knees.
The fact that it's impossible to find a decent orange anywhere these days...they're either all disgustingly sweet from being over hybridized or they're dry and mealy. Do I really have to go to Spain for a decent orange? Apperently.
I'm sure there are more things that pish me off, but I'd rather talk about the things I'm happy about and grateful for...like Rammstein.

I don't like celebrities who try to push THEIR viewpoints on the general population because they are famous and have a microphone and a camera in front of them they can say what they want and we are all supposed to just agree with them because of who they are.....
OH. and the all the people trying to push:
Global warming
Abortion
Political Correctness
LGBT
I hope I don't upset anyone, just listing what upsets me when I look at the news everyday and see people trying to push their opinions on me and how I NEED, no no no --- I HAVE TO BE accepting/tolerant/understanding etc.

Hmmmm things that get to me...
-People who don't say please or thank you
-Liars
-Hearing people chew
-People who proclaim they are "drama" free....yet are the center of all arguments/disagreements/and....drama
-When people can't accept when they're wrong
-Rudeness. It's really not hard to be polite and to speak to people with respect.
-Drivers who pull out in front of you and go slow.......when there is absolutely no traffic coming behind you.

- Roommates eating my food or not cleaning up after themselves

- Suck ups ( 1/4 of my program does this crap...and the crap is, the profs fall for it)

-When I request a special order for food and they still get it wrong
-Crappy drivers
-Traffic
-Constant construction on roads
-Automated phone services -- takes 20 minutes and dialing 0 15x to get to an actual person and then the person I get to can't speak a lick of English
-fat people
-teenagers
-old people
-that Costco doesn't take debit cards at their food dining area ...but they take checks
i'm outta stuff for now

QUOTE]
Swindled,
My fiance and I live in a tiny 1 bedroom and the TV and computer are 10 feet from each other. Since we invested in a good pair of head phones life has been much better! I highly recommend investing in a pair, that way you can watch TV and he can catch up on sports on the net. I often catch up on missed shows (like Grey's Anatomy) on the computer and having the head phones is perfect, keeps us from getting on each other's nerves!

Dang, ya'll have an awesome list so far!!
Uh... personal training clients who quit on me without a good excuse and somehow think their fat will melt off with no effort. On the topic of personal training clients, another thing that bothers me is fat people who say, "I can't eat THAT much FOOD! I can't believe you're telling me to eat chicken and almonds and saying I will actually LOSE weight!" AAAAND... clients who say, "Well, I want to have LEAN muscle, not BIG muscles like YOU have... I mean... I don't want to be BUFF, I just want to be TONED!"
Hollywood annoys me. The way mainstream society hangs off every move Hollywood makes annoys me, too. Most celebrities annoy me, especially those who are famous for nothing. The way people hate on specific celebrities annoys me, too -- sure, they're in the public eye, but they are still human beings! Average-looking people who diss the way a celebrity is currently looking (ie: _X_ got FAT!) when THEY CERTAINLY don't look any better is bothersome.
I don't like when ppl typ likk diss n dun use gramma u no????/ and excessive inability to spell simple words correctly grinds my nerves, ESPECIALLY when stupidity frequently follows. I don't like stupid people. By "stupid," I do not mean those who literally lack mental capacity; I'm talking about those who fail to think in nearly every aspect of life and have no desire to change that.
Condescending, negative people irk me, as do very impatient people, snobs, and those who ASSUME a southern accent means you're thick-headed and incapable of forming a proper sentence. Jealous bishes should all go in room 101 and be jealous of each other. Controlling, posessive guys who don't want me having male friends/assume every guy I hang out with is someone I could sleep with can go in room 101 with the jealous girls and date them.
I'm sure there are more things that irritate me, but this is it for NOW.

Post of the year right here.....
Small list for me,
Sluts - Goes for both sexes ppl, just bc your a guy doesnt exclude you from being a nasty slutbag, its not cool and it aint "hot" to have aids.
The fads and fakeness - Updating your wardrobe with the latest thong sandle, abercrombie and bitch, hollister catpiss cologne, surfer***s. 9 out of 10 wouldnt know how to stand on a surfboard if their life depended on it.
People who drive in the left lane doing 10-20mph under- GTFO of the left lane if your not passing. This isnt the autobaughn (sp?) but dammit it should be.
Bitching about current events- I used to be one of these ppl, but the bitching that takes place about the world and the way it is needs to be carried out differentely. Do something about it or STFU.
Drama- Ppl around my age are responsible for more drama created for no damn reason. If your life is that damn boring, get a ****ing hobby.
Women who bitch about not finding a good guy - chances are they are all around you, and im willing to bet for most of you the best contestant is your best male friend, ya know the guy that listens to you bitch about guys, silently in the back waving his hand for a chance.
To be continued.......

Yeah, I've seen a lot of people wear "surf" attire, BUT when I try to talk to them about surfing, they're befuddled.
I like surfing. I'm not good at it, but I enjoy it very much.

I'm not the most tolerant person in the world, so I'll try to par my list down to the primary offenders:
People who whinge, then proceed to ignore helpful advice. This applies especially to "I need to lose weight," through mouthfuls of cake.
Laziness, lack of drive
Poor punctuality
Unreliable people that I'm forced to rely on
Various unnecessary eating noises
Benefit thieves
Hypocrites
People who have an unchanging spiel (often regarding politics/current affairs) that they reel out every time they have an audience.
Closed-mindedness

Walk2Liv, I can't stand when people do that at a merge!!! I deal with it every morning on the way to work. Drives me nuts!
