i used to not be able to do 1 push up, DEAD serious
started doing them everyday, 1-3 a day
started doing 10..
started gym..
exploded to 20..
after a while..
@ 200 pounds i get like 40 good ones, 40-50 are sloppy but still legit.
get lots of blood rushing in my face so i stop, and arms get bored/tired LOL
100 in a row just seems boring but i can't lie, pushups is a goodway to keep yourself up.. if you can do 100 every morning for the rest of your life.. good for ya !
but an intense gym program > 100 push ups.. i would leave them for when you are out of reach for equip etc. Imma be doing them when im older for sure.
in b4 120 pounders say they do 100 with ease lol

tucked is much harder, it's A LOT more tricep/inner chest, now that i think of it, VERY similair to a close grip bench press.
Diamond push ups are good too, but i think they are more for show, because i feel more pressure on my wrists..
a real challenge is to get a basketball or something, and do it like that.. feels good man.
i also love decline push ups, so if having troubles try those out. some find them harder then normal, for some odd reason my body finds them easier , give it a whirrrl

depends. Weighted pushups are probably better though. Anyways...
Chest, triceps, biceps(in b4 somebody tells me i'm wrong), Ceratus(sp) anterior(which BEP does not engage), Lats, and core muscles. Also, obviously the level at which the pushup targets each one of those body-parts, is not very great, but you will work them nonetheless.
