So out of the blue a few hours ago my ex g/fs best friend texts me.

Here's how the txt messaging went:

Her: Hey this is sunny. Shelby wants to know if you still have that ring.

Me: Why

Her: She wants it back.

Me: Why?

Her: Its hers i guess she wants it back

Me: I bought it so its mine

Her: She really wants it back. And its a gift to her so its hers. SHe picked it out and it only fits her finger.

Her: Well btw Shelby and i are together.

Me: What does that mean

Her: She gave up on guys after you?

Her: Im serious. Were movin in together.

Me: w/e

Her: Anyways i think you should give her back the ring

Her: I did but she wants that one.

Me: Why would she want something that reminds her of me when thats your chick now

Her: Cause it doesn't remind her of you its pretty and was a gift to her

That is word for word copied from my phone. I dated her friend for a year, haven't spoken to her in 5 or so months. Thought everything was over and done, now I get this.

Misc, I'm so f***ing stressed right now. I can't explain to you how crazy the relationship was and how bad this makes me feel. I want NOTHING to do with either of them, which is why i have chosen to stop texting after finding out their intentions. I also don't believe they are going out now. That sounds stupid.

Btw: I still do have the promise ring in my drawer. It cost me $270 and I bought it for her for our 6 months, so a LONG time ago. She's not getting it back. And before anyone asks, i only gave it to her b/c she kept bugging me for it. I was beta. Now I'm not in the mood for games or any of this.
