As long as your not going over your caloric level for the day its fine!!

For me...I try to not eat carbs before bed just because carbs to me are energy and why the hell would I want energy before bed!?

but I ALWAYS have my casein protein shake before bed...maybe a few slices of turkey or cottage cheese....

what are you thinking of eating!?

I ALWAYS eat before bed. I can't sleep hungry.

What's more important, worry about eating before bed being 'bad for you' or not being able to sleep? You decide

Oh yes, I forget... my body just stops doing everything when I go to sleep. SHUT UP!
ORLY??? News to me, turkey doesn't have any carbs! =O Waw!

OP: A slow digesting protein and some healthy fats are good before bed. But to be honest, it's really up to you.

If you're hungry before bed, eat.

If you're not hungry before bed, do not eat.

    EAT
I have air popped plain popcorn and a shake with skim milk before bed EVERY night. This works for me, it may be something completely different for you. Lots of people enjoy having cottage cheese and some pb prebed.. or a casein shake etc.

So, dont be afraid to eat before bed.. Enjoy!

I have a casein shake (milk + powder+ice) and almonds before bed because I find too many carbs right before bed makes me feel a little ill in the morning. I take the casein and almonds cause I always wake up feeling really good, ready to go, and I can't go to bed hungry either. Its just if you are hungry, it fits into your daily intake, and what you feel like eating.
