Off season food intake and cardio

Are there any opinions on what food ratios/calories should be off season to gain muscle and not get too fluffy?

What about cardio? What should be the max for cardio off season when trying to build muscle? How long? etc.....

Thank you--just confused since I started off season.Planning on showing figure again in a year and a half. Really need to put on some muscle! I feel like I am getting fluffy already! :-/

I always tell people in your off season, if you want to gain muscle, eat 2 times your body weight a day in protein and 2.5 times your body weight a day in clean carbs. Cardio should be limited (2 days a week no more than 3 days a week for 20-30 minutes). You will put on bodyfat, there is no way around it. When I compete I'm a size 28 pant and a 32 in my off season.
Branch chain amino acids and krealkilin are great to help with the muscle gains as well.
