i have a pretty bad gyno and it's so much worse than yours. i plan on getting to around 9%
body fat and then i'll go for the surgery. i think that if you lose some body fat yours won't
be noticeable, i think you should try that, and if it stills bothers you then, you can go for the
surgery as a last resort.

Gynecomastia is a contour problem. If a male has female like breasts, he has gyno (gynecomastia). All male mammals have gland in their breasts. The contour problem is always a combination of fat gland and skin. You can see the Anatomy of Gynecomastia how each element can vary. When fat is a significant component, weight loss can be of great value. The problem is you cannot target where the fat comes from. Male fat distribution is to put fat first on the chest and belly. Weight loss before surgery is typically better than weight loss after.
A common term for small male breast enlargement is Puffy Nipple Gynecomastia.
Hope this helps,

Not so bad looking in the front. Just dont show it in the side. Try to work out more of the chest and it may go away. Who knows?

Hey VirgilMorgan I had gyno surgery last wednesday! Came out awesome.
Mine looked exactly like yours and I looked pretty much exactly like you when I started working out aswell.
Only thing I'm not happy about with the surgery is I regret not losing a bit of fat before hand because now my I can see that my chest carries the most fat out of all my body parts. So I still have man boobs lol just not as bad and not pointy. Gotta lean out over the next 4 weeks then start bulking again.

Yes, reducing body fat will help a great deal. It may not completely solve this issue depending the size of the gland. In my case, I need to be below 12% to see improvement and need to reach single digits before I'm comfortable taking my shirt off. This winter I bulked up to over 15% and my chest looked awful.
