Decongestant needed (serious)
I've been sick for about 4 days, took an antibiotic (no effect yet) and wasn't given a decongestant. The pain behind my ears from being congested and having to blow my nose is driving me insane so have you tried any OTC decongestants that actually work well?

You will need four things.
1) bowl
2)towel
3)hot water
4)vicks vaporub
steps:
1) pour hot water into bowl
2) add some vicks vapor rub
3) put head over bowl
4) drape towel around head, making an enclosure type deally
5) breath as much as you can... it'll get hard
do it for as long as you can stand
that will clear up your sinuses, yo. furrealz.

awesome thanks guys. and yes I meant my nose. I mean, its in my lungs and whatnot also but I cant breath through my nose and from blowing it, a lot of constant pressure builds up and never goes away. Can hardly hear anything and making things louder just hurts.
I'll try both ideas! Thanks! Reps with what I've got!

about the vapor rub, doing it now, and idk if I added too much of it or what, but maaaan... I can only breath it in for spurts of a few seconds cause of how it feels in my throat/chest. Its workin tho..

Mucinex D is a fukkin awesome decongestant - has both guaifenesin for more productive coughs and pseudoephedrine HCl for mad decongesting. You can buy it OTC at most places, but they'll make you show an ID and sign in cuz apparently the pseudoephedrine can be used to make crystal meth

Thought about buying some of that. I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy something, snort saltwater, and do the vapor rub. cause one nostril is now perfectly clear and my head feels a bit better, but the other definitely needs some salt water shot up there, and meds cant hurt =)
