Calling Out Arbex
Just want to see where your head's at brah.
Here's a PM.
Serious. I'm an atheist like you but unlike you I actually try to find truth and good in everything around me. I originally liked you when I first entered the forums, but you come off as a very naive, mental-midget individual with a weak, distorted sense of reality as seen by the way you characterize "4.0 gpa drones/anti-poon nerds/religious robots etc." It's like you never know what the f*ck you are talking about. You reek of stupidity through your incessant usage of that Tom Cruise gif.. I have yet to EVER see you properly refute anything said by anyone including bird. Just saying man. I understand that you'll improve in the future, but for the time being it's absolutely disgusting that you think your some kind of bold intellectual "who says think as they are" because of the books you choose to read.. you're far from it, you 2.5 GPA having schmuck. I know it. ripper6 knows it. Genghis Connor knows it. Let's just say you're nowhere near what you think you are.
-GoB
You know, I'm going to actually give you an extended response because your stupidity and ignorance bothers me.
Quote:

Oh really, jackass? And what the **** am I here for? So I can have my own views of the world and call it truth? GTFO. Everything I say on this forum has scientific basis behind it. That includes facts, theories (not hypotheses), research, and observations.
All of which were done by the most intelligent people on the planet. People who dedicate their entire lives to what they study.
I don't ever say something that some scientist thinks is stupid or "delusional" like you mentioned here.
If you were really an atheist and understood evolutionary biology and psychology, you'd understand why I say the things I do. Do you not see people agreeing with me, you fool?
Did you get mad I said love doesn't exist? Is that why you commented on my picture (which by the way, makes you a hypocrite)?
Perhaps you missed this part:
Quote:
When Love Blossoms
Romantic love, Dr Fisher (Helen Fisher, PhD - Biological Anthropologist) explained in a lecture at the 2004 American Psychiatric Association's annual meeting, is not an emotion. Rather, it's "a motivation system, it's a drive, it's part of the reward system of the brain." It's a need that compels the lover to seek a specific mating partner. Then the brain links this drive to all kinds of specific emotions depending on how the relationship is going. All the while, she went on to say, the prefrontal cortex is assembling data, putting information into patterns, making strategies, and monitoring the progress toward "life's greatest prize."
Oh wow, didn't Arbex said those exact same words?? LMFAO.
If people actually took the time to read what the experts say, they'd would ****ing understand that I don't speak nonsense but the truth.
You sound like you're a little right-brained little bitch who gets his emotions ****ed with and is easily controlled by it.
Quote:

What? You think someone with a 4.0 is intelligent? LOL. I'd expect more from an atheist.
If you think someone knows jack by having a 4.0, then you are a moron.
Any idiot can memorize theories and equations.
[quote]It's like you never know what the f*ck you are talking about.[quote]
Oh rly?
Give me one example.
AND I'M WAITING.
Quote:
You reek of stupidity through your incessant usage of that Tom Cruise gif.. I have yet to EVER see you properly refute anything said by anyone including bird.
lmfao, I should really post this on the forum so people can ****ing laugh at you. Do you have any idea of how many private messages I get to talk about ****? People asking me things, and laughing at the retards on this forum privately? If you only knew.
I'll destroy you or any Christian on this forum in a proper debate anytime anywhere.
I have been doing this for the past 6 years. I'm tired of the same arguments and illogical thinking. This is why I don't waste my time with ignorance anymore--I just make fun of it.
Quote:

This coming from an 18-year-old who thinks he knows me.
Again, bringing the GPA to the table I see. Sounds like you're a 4.0 drone.
I'm no intellectual. I listen to the experts and apply the knowledge I've gained to the real world.
Any atheist has enough knowledge to make the average simple-minded, sheep look like ****. If you're really an atheist, then you should know it. But you're 18 so I don't expect you to know much as I can clearly see by you saying what I say is nonsense when the greatest scientists of all time have already said and proved.
Quote:
I know it. ripper6 knows it. Genghis Connor knows it. Let's just say you're nowhere near what you think you are.
I don't think you're an atheist.
Before you come here thinking you know jack **** about or what I know, I suggest reading what I say and first doing a little research on the topic.
I'll never say something I know is wrong.
Everything I mention on this topic has already been scientifically owned by experts.
And by the way, negged for the insult on my picture.
Maybe as you grow out of your teens, you'll understand the world a little better.
Have a nice day.

What man loves more than life
Fears more than death or mortal strife
What poor men have, the rich acquire
And all contended men desire
What Misers spend and the Wastrels save
And each man carries to his grave

OK so I assume that first PM is yours right? Then he broke it down point by point. Everything after your PM is what he said, right?

If that first part of the post is your pm to him, I completely agree with you. Arbex is a guy who just started getitng into this whole idea of atheism as is evident by his threads proclaiming how much he's enjoying books that most atheists read 5+ years ago.
Everything is new to him so he feels like he's really smart when he thinks of something. I compare it to guys who just finish boot camp in the military. The whole idea of the military is brand new to them so they're always arrogant and smug by thinking that other people can't "understand" them or aren't as smart as them. However, little do they know that a lot of people have been there, done than and moved on with their life.
In about 2-3 years, Arbex will settle down when he realizes that he's not unique and that no one gives a **** about what he has to say. Then he'll actually dig for truth and find whatever belief/lack of belief he wants to hold without having to announce it from a mountaintop. He's like a virgin who just got laid and has to tell everyone....

Yo brah. There are tons of kids just like Arbex. They are at that stage in their lives where they are struggling to seek out their identities and their place in the universe. They rush into conclusion about things that they really lack indepth and thorough understanding. That is why there is this saying that a little knowledge can be dangerous. lol
You are into martial arts, so I am sure you have come across those who are the usual know it all who think they got it all figured out regarding martial arts. lol Guys like Arbex are no different from those. They all will learn.
My advice to you is, don't waste your time arguing with them. Focus on your own studying and training. Don't worry about those people. The world marches on with or without them. In time, they will either learn or don't. But that is not your problem. lol

He's said it once already.. he simply got tired of showing people that their arguments are illogical.. when they simply make up excuse after excuse and dig deeper into their hole. So he makes an argument here and there.. and makes religious people look like idiots by making sarcastic posts.
Arbex is more like one of the people who finally realized how to eat/workout the right way.. and laughs at those 'gym characters' like benchncurls (jordansrt), throws down my weight after I finish a set of deadlifts guy (nonatlas), and who cares if i'm 140 lbs i'm still going to cut guy (godofbasketball)

I think it's more important to focus on what a person says rather than looking at their intent, in regards to forum posts. Everyone on this forum probably posts **** that they are new to and don't understand fully, myself included. it's a part of sharing information which can be exciting.
If you want to look at intent, why not discuss the reasons behind someone posting PMs in a forum. Not get what 'Personal message' means? Why does the god of basketball give a **** about what arbex thinks? Seems pretty petty to me.
