these were from last september...never posted pics....i'll gradually post more....there's just too many....and im lazy.
I'll post some of the Cambodia pics first..
this first set is from a pit stop we took on a bus rid from vietnam to cambodia. we were in cambodia at the time of these pics.
yes, those are fried spiders that they were selling..and no i did not eat one!
next are pics from The Killing Fields in cambodia (if you dont know the story, wiki it). Basically a place where they took loads of people to kill during a genocide.
these are all human bones....there are STILL bones all over the fields. i even found a few human teeth and arm bones in the grass...
these two kids literally lived in the bushes on the killing fields..Children in cambodia are incredibly impoverished.

"One morning I woke up and found my favorite pigeon, Julius, had died I was devastated and was gonna use his crate as my stickball bat to honor him. I left the crate on my stoop and went in to get something and I returned to see the sanitation man put the crate into the crusher. I rushed him and caught him flush on the temple with a titanic right hand he was out cold, convulsing on the floor like an infantile retard." -Mike Tyson

They actually blur out ciggarette smoking in movies. (American Beauty)
next is Angkor wat...just a mind blowingly enormous temple. its bigger than disney land. takes at least 3-4 days to see the entire thing. they filmed Lara Croft Tomb Raider here...photos dont do it justice...
there's a bunch of faces in this pic...
yes that monk has a cell phone in his hand...
there were monkeys all over the temple grounds...

we went to this museum way out in the middle of nowhere....felt very sketchy...but we were feeling adventrous....out museum tour guide lost his wife and two kids to landmines, and he himself had ridden a bike over one...he had a metal leg and had a bunch of pellets still under his skin (he showed us)....
here's a pic of him at the outdoor museum..looking pissed....
and some more pics from that museum/memorial (thats my bro holding the rusty bazooka). the museum was very laid back...they'd let you hold all the weapons and sit inside old rusty tanks...and we were the only ones there, which made it pretty creepy....felt like a setup.
and i think this'll be my last Cambodia pic...
these two boys worked on a boat with their dad. you'd pay them a few bucks and they'd tour you around this floating village.... i just thought the kids Smackdown tshirt was hilarious. a hcontrast between American culture and cambodian culture...
i'll get to it eventually. Vietnam was the highlight of my trip. I LOVE that country. especially Hoi Ann.
maybe i'll do Vietnam next....check back tomorrow.
done for the day.

yes. i said they were fried spiders.
no
yes
lmfao i never noticed that.
because im a ****.
but seriously, most of the workers there are children. for example adults weren't selling pineapples at pit stops, they'd make the kids do it because they realize that tourists are more likely to buy stuff from cute kids than some ugly old cambodian woman. cambodian kids are very smart, witty and funny.
yes, . will post tarps when i get to posting the thailand photos. next is vietnam.Last edited by JingleAllTheWAY; 05-30-2009 at 10:20 AM.
