How much do you tip for a tattoo??
Asking all tattoo artists and tattoo enthusiast alike, how much is considered a good tip??
Reason I'm asking is I plan on getting a sleeve done. Do I tip each and every session? Or at the end of it all? How much is a good tip?
Comments/Suggestions/Feedback??

I tip each and every session, about 20 bucks. I talked to a tattoo artist and at the shop he was at he told me he gets 50% of whatever it is he's charging me. So i feel too bad only giving 20 bucks even if it's a 1000 dollar tattoo.

I've gotten tattoos before and I've tipped. My last tattoo was 4.5hrs and was about $350 so I tipped $50.
This time around, I'm getting a sleeve done, so it's multiple sessions. Just curious if I should be tipping each session or should I tip just at the end when the sleeve is done? Don't wanna have the artist think I'm ungreatful or anything. I love his artwork, I'm just not made out of money so I can't afford to be throwing bills out left, right and center.
Just trying to get a general census...

I tip 20-30%.
ESPECIALLY if you're going back to the same guy/gal.
