    Always hungry on keto diet!

Why am I always hungry on the keto diet? I'm asain and I haven't ate rice in 3 months. Is this the problem?? I'm eating about 2400-2600 calories a day but I do train very hard at the gym and do 30 min liss cardio and my waist hasn't gone up or down. Is this normal??

I would look at the sugar content of your whipped cream and maybe try to drop the diet soda to a minimum.. some people have insulin spikes with that

My bad, it's actually whipping cream 0 sugar... Today, I dropped the diet soda and I'm drinking more water and right now I don't feel hungry at all... Maybe it was the diet soda causing me to eat more...

I weigh 141.5 on Monday & Tuesday I weigh 142.5 & had a carb up Wednesday and by Thurdays day morning I weigh 147 lol and today I'm at 146.00. God I hate carb ups!!

You can have insulin spikes from diet soda? I drink Diet Cherry Coke Zero, Sprite Zero, Diet Dr. Pepper and Diet A&W and I've stayed in ketosis ok...and my body reacts to EVERYTHING lol...

I have found from personal experience that consuming aspartame a lot will increase my appetite profoundly.

If you are hungry then eat. Just remember, Keto is not about eating HIGH protein, it is about eating High FAT. Nuts, Cheeses, ect are healthy fat that you should eat for energy. Remember, FAT for energy.
