How the frig do i find a foreclosure??

If all these foreclosures are pulling down the banks, why arent they making more of n effort to sell them off?

It should be on the cover of every single newspaper ... "dial this number if you would like to buy a foreclosed house"

But anyhow, is there a method of finding these good deals? Do i just walk into a bank and ask for the foreclosure department? lol

There was a house on my families block, it had a sign for the longest time "this house will be auctioned, dial this number to participate" and nobody i know called, because everyone assumed that banks show up and run up the prices so there realy is never a great deal. Long sory short, the house went for $125k!! Every house in the neighborhood is appraised over 600k!!! Even with 100k in renovations its a great deal lol.

So how do i find a foreclosure in my area?
