Excellent squats, nice grinder too! My shoes from maxbarbell arrived today. They were having a special, so they only ended up being $40, so it will be interesting to see how long they last.
S4ndm4n and gym mouse will also be there, and I think Torrtrefireto might be making the trip down as well. BB.com will be rollin' deep!

Routine
I have my own made-up routine right now. Just testing some things to see what works
Currently:
Monday-Press Day (usually start with CGBP for heavy triples, DB floor presses, Various DB raises for shoulders, and then speed benches)
Tuesday-Light Cardio
Wednesday-Squat Day (squats, ghetto GHR's, Knee extns, intense cardio [running/sled work])
Thursday-Bench Day (paused bench, CG Incline, Various DB raises for shoulders, Flys)
Friday-Upper Back/Biceps (pulldowns, BB rows, seated rows, DB curls)
Satuday-Work (light/medium cardio)
Sunday-DL assistance (GoodMorning Variation [do 3weeks and then one week of DL's before switching to a diff. variation of GM], heavy bar holds, ghetto GHR's, Calf raises)
I came up with this routine because I like being able to lift 5days/wk and at first the two days of benching was really helping out my numbers. But I think the volume while trying to lose weight is actually counter productive because some of my lifts are starting to stall. So I think after the comp I'm going to switch to the 5/3/1 plan with MAYBE a 4th day thrown in as my "bodybuilder" day or something haha!Last edited by 87lifter; 03-07-2010 at 10:58 AM.

Last heavy Squat day before the meet:
Squats- worked-up to 435 for a single and then hit 370 for 5 reps on the way back down
Ghetto GHR's-
Finished with 3sets of 10reps of knee extensions
After lifting I got in a protein shake and then drove home to do some sled work:

Well I ran out of checks early this month when I paid rent so I was waiting for some to come in. I just sent out my form today so I should be on the roster by mid next week I would guess
I was actually looking thru the roster the other day and one of the guys in my weight-class competed there last year and it said he benched 414 or something ridiculous like that. I hope the other guys are NOT that strong haha!Last edited by 87lifter; 03-12-2010 at 08:43 AM.

Yeah, the bench was light as S@#T! It was my opener actually so that's why
After we did openers, they changed head judges and the new guy made us stop the bar on our chest, then basically counted to 3 in his head before giving a press command. So obviously that made the lifts VERY hard and I failed my 2nd and 3rd attempts, both at 295lbsStarting to suck a little less at benching...

I'm starting a bit of a new lifting routine since my comp is over and I figured I would start a workout log in that section as well. So instead of posting videos here and having a separate log for the write-up, I figure I'll just put the videos in that log as well. So here's the link for those of you that are interested in following my videos still
