    Okay lets talk about healthy food, but lets take the best food for best results

    Right now im trying to eat perfect. I have a list of healthy foods here. What i want to know is what are the foods that are eaten by lets say a proffessional body builder trying to lean up.


    Healthy foods list


    milk 1%
    whole egg
    egg white
    whole wheat bread
    all fresh fruit
    whey protein powder
    peanut butter
    nuts
    low fat cottage cheese
    chicken
    fish
    meat
    olive oil
    vegetables
    oatmeal
    cheese
    fiber one cereal





    i realize all these foods are healthy but what foods would a pro body builder take out so he can get maximum results. Would he exclude milk, dairy, nuts, etc... I see alot of strict diets without dairy and fruit. These diets consist mostly of chicken, fish, vegetables, oatmeal, egg whites, etc...

    Pro bodybuilders get protein from mostly egg whites, whey, fish, chicken bread, turkey breast, lean beef, and casein.

    They mostly get their carbs from brown bread, pasta, rice, beans, vegetables, and sweet potatoes.

    And the fat usually comes from nuts, flaxseed oils, peanut oil, sunflower oil etc.

    Do not fear dairy product and fruits by any means. Dairy (milk and low fat cheese) will do wonders for you if you are not lactose intolerance and fruits can be THE thing that will keep you sane if you have a sweet tooth.
    Begin slowly. Don't go cold turkey on fast food and etc if you are used to them.
    All those foods are pretty healthy and everything, but remember this one thing: A healthy food is only healthy as far as you eat it in moderation.
    - Don't go eating like 8tbsps of peanut butter a day.
    - Don't go eat bananas like a madman
    - Even too much fiber can be bad for you (too much fiber and not enough water can cause constirpation)

    0rly? how is the protein carbs and fats in one set of food structurally different than any other food(yes "junk" food can have chemical additives and synthetic junk but not all "junk" food does)

    Well actually, it depends on the genetics, so this is what I will say.

    But if I were to all the sudden start eating junk food, would I look as good as I do now? No.
    If I ate healthier than I do now would I look better? Yes, would I get better results? Yes

    But comparing people will result in confusion.
