Rant about OBESITY!!

ok so I dont know if anyone else feels the way I do about obese people but it really gets to me. I not even talking about random strangers specificly....You see i'm an exercise science major and theres all these obese and completely out of shape people in my classes going to be personal trainers and the like. I just dont understand why they would even be in the major. It goes the same for obese people in the gym (and on here for that matter) trying to give others fat loss advice. I realize that fat people can have knowledge on the subject but if you dont have the dicipline to practice it then I dont think you have any business telling others how to do it... ..... yah i guess a 300 lb girl in one of my ES classes today telling others about proper nutrition just put me over the top... especially as I used to be obese myself and I just dont understand how these people aren't embarassed about their bodies

things that get me is , people who try to justify eating terrible foods
i used to work with a lady that ate a 1 lbs bag off m&ms everyday
and everyday she was like well they are the peanut kind so its good for you

also if a diectian , pt or someone else in the field is far overweight
well they better have a major paper published or a big name in the proformance enhancement industry world for me to take them seriosuly

You are looking at it from an ecto's point of view. For heavy endo's staying in shape year round involves some heavy sacrifices. For some, its just not worth it, so they choose to ignore their looks. However, i can see how an out of shape dietician or PT just wont get the clients like an one in shape would.
But maybe that 300 lb girl really needs to do something with herself lol, that is just over the top.

I know what you mean. I have an uncle who weighs over 400 lbs and is about 5'10, falls asleep constantly because he expends too much energy being awake (has actually been in an accident because he fell asleep at the wheel...in broad daylight) and is diabetic. Thing that kills me is that he went to a gastric bypass seminar, came home and calls my mom saying "I have to be in way worse shape to justify the risk". Couldn't believe what I heard.

Are you aware that there are people in this world that have a severe medical condition which causes them to be that way? My mother for instance is one of those people. She is a truck driver that has bad knees and a bad back from driving the truck but you probably do not care about that case either. Oh well I am not one of those people I am 6'4" 245lbs and I exercise every day. I would love to see you say something like to my mother in front of me. Probably never happen though you are probably just an internet tough guy. I doubt very seriously you would say that to someones face. Just my thought.What do you think. Oh I am sorry you probably do not have a brain. I on the other hand will be happy to buy you a plane ticket to come here and see if you have the nerve to say that to someone I know.

i have to disagree

if a doctor who knows about everything is overweight and lets say actually gets diabetes eventually...if his expert opinion no longer valid just cuz he is overweight and should know better than to get to that point

he is still just as knowledgeable

It's human nature.

I was a psychology major in college (luckily, I also graduated with a business degree) but all my classes were full of people who were ****ed in the head. Lucky for me, the majority were pretty hot chicks and crazy broads **** great... you know, sometimes the more ****ed in the head they were the better sex it was. Yea, they all had baggage but every chick does anyway, might as well get some crazy psycho-chick sex out of it.

Anyway, people seem to gravitate towards their weaknesses. Moth to flame kind of thing. Fatties go to the exercise classes, pyscho chicks with daddy issues become psyk majors. With all the porkers - I guess all those fatties are obssessed with food and diet but most probably lack the willpower and spine to do anything about it (which is why they're fat piles o' ****).

I'll tell you what, I think you're getting the raw end of the deal here. You're in a class with a bunch of fat ****tards who probably only want to talk about how they "only" eat a salad for lunch. Me - I was having my back torn to shreds by insane hot chicks while I pounded them into submission with my man pride.
