Is Ham Considered a Lean Meat?

I'm just curious as to if ham is considered a lean meat. Is it bad to have a decent amount of it, or is it bad for you like bologna? I rarely have it, I'm just wondering if it's actually good to have as a source of protein.

ham lunch meat, while usually highly processed and high in sodium, is fairly lean

Lunch meat ham is usually something like...
    1slice:
    30calories
    1g fat
    2 carbs
    4/5 g protein

But yes high sodium and its processed but I still make a lunch meat sandwich almost everyday with whole wheat bread and a slice of cheese.

Oh gotcha, and to make the sandwich better if you can find some extra protein bread, and throw some low fat cheese one there it makes it more nutritional and higher in protein obviously.

I normally put 2 slices of ham, 2 slices of american cheese, and 2 slices of turkey on whole wheat bread... It's delicious, and quite high in protein.
