Velocity ?

My gf is thinking about starting Velocity with me, but has a few questions before she fully jumps in...the primary one being how much velocity affects blood sugar levels; she's not diabetic, but just someone who is sensitive to the change in them.

One other concern of hers that is kind of related is if how much being on Velocity will impact cardio. She takes a couple dance classes a week that are high impact and is concerned that being on Velocity will have an adverse effect on them, or being able to go.

If anyone could throw out any other adverse effects that may show up would be great too...hearing from other people in addition to myself would probably ease her mind.

if you start the veloctiy diet you will see a rapid rise in blood sugar levels as for cadio she would have enough energy

My understanding is this is low carb? If so, carbs raise blood glucose levels. Fat and protein do not except through a process called gluconeogenesis which will have minimal impact on blood glucose levels.

As for energy, I would expect it to be low. Your muscles use glycogen as energy, which is converted from glucose in the blood, which comes from carbs in the food you eat.
