Theres alot of factors that effect our diets and routines, many of which are broought up with questions on here. Some of which include;
Work issues - fitting meals in.
Money - not being able to afford everything you want
Time to prepare meals throughout the day.
So lets say none of these factors matter as much, what would your perfect clean bulking diet be, a diet that has plenty of healthy fats, vitamins, minerals and maybe superfoods. Dont worry about weather you would have time to make the meals and lets say that this diet is for somebody that works 5 days a week from 9-5 with time to eat before work, mid morning, lunch, mid afternoon (pre workout) then works out and has anoher meal when at home and then one pre bed meal.
Money isnt really a factor either, obviously i dont mean including kobe beef and caviar, still being sensible to a point.

At least 1g/lb of protein and some sort of fat sources.
A calorie surplus enabling you to gain weight: 300-500cal over maintenance. You can go by the mirror aswell, not just scale weight. Emphasis eating around your workouts to aid performance.
Eat veggies, whole food sources when you can and try to get variety.Last edited by Fitto13; 05-25-2009 at 05:52 AM.

Maybe some people would find it easier, but I would imagine a lot of people would be hungry for most of the day if they only ate twice. I mean 7 eggs, some potatoes and a shake wouldn't fill me up for 10 hours.
Also he's presumably working out, so if his 7am meal is his pre-workout meal he would be fatigued and probably hungry until 5pm, and if his 5pm meal is his pre-workout meal he wouldn't have any nutrients after the workout to aid muscle recovery. If either of them were eaten after his workout, he wouldn't have much energy from food for his workout.
He also says in his post he has time to eat 6 times a day.
So to me it seems pretty illogical.
