tank top weather!!

Now that summer is here, how many of you strong ladies love wearing tank tops and showing off your hard work and "guns"?!?!?! We are HOT even if skinny fat is "in" and strong women are still not embraced by everyone (one day, don't worry :-D ). Also, its okay to show off as long as we aren't going around telling everyone we are awesome, since our bods say enough by themselves, right? ...Sorry this is random, I am just pumped up about working out and summer time and I was hoping I'm not the only one who loves wearing tank tops even more now that I lift.

I do. For the first time in my life I actually feel proud of my body and all the hard work that has gone into it. I like wearing shorts and I like wearing tanks and halters. The first time it was warm enough to do so, I was standing in line to order some lunch with my husband and some lady came up to me and asked me if I'm a marathon runner. I responded with, "no", to which she replied that it's looks like I am. Although that's not the look I'm going for (I prefer a more muscular look), I still took that as a huge compliment because it means I look fit.

Some people stare. I'm not sure if they're staring in a good way or a bad way . In the past it would have made me extraordinarily self-conscious, but now that I actually have confidence I don't care either way.

Yeppers! Though I don't have much to show off, I'm thinking of wearing more form fitting clothes (ditching the plaids, combat boots, and spiked jacket for a nice tank top) I've lost weight already, so that'll be an upside.
Biking is also very good in this weather. I love summer!!

I love wearing tank tops. I get stared at by other women... but it doesn't offend me.

Funny thing is I'm not even that big compared to some of the girls on this website... but compared to your average 21 year old girl, i'm built I guess.

I've waited years to wear tank tops and not scare everyone, lol. Now with losing mega weight and working out I love tanks. I have developed an unnatural obsession with them, especially black ones- I want to buy everyone I see. I live in Vegas so I have a long tank top season, yeah.

yea im with dunkonu9. i think its sexy too when a female works out/lifts and shows it. i dont think we see enough of it. every now and then i will see a female in the mall or at the store that has a some nice arms or some great legs but its rare.

Yes!! Love the tank tops. My favorite summer look is tank top, jeans, and heels. Tanks come in so many different styles I can still look nice and show off my arms.

Tank tops and shorts/capri pants are like my summer uniform. But this summer will be the first time in my life that I've actually liked the way my arms/shoulders look!

I've spent so much time in the gym so I'm bloody well going to show it off! Tank tops are basically all I'm wearing (in terms of tops before any of you guys comment!) just now. I get a few funny looks but then I think it's all the hugely overweight people you see in them that deserve the looks more than me! I just saw a woman the other day who was that big she was barely able to walk in a skin tight tank top, not pleasant.

This summer I'm finding out that I don't have enough tank tops but have many tshirts that I don't want to wear anymore (they don't show my arms enough lol!). It's time to go shopping!!
