Lots of wrestlers trying over and over and over and over again to take you down.

its good but like the other guy said- online is so laggy its pretty terrible, and the loading screens (just seconds here and there, but there is literally like 10 menus you have to go through just to change a logo on your pants, and then you have to back out of them one at a time the same way you went in, and to top it off you have to do it for every nearly every fight to get the "CRED" you need) pretty much suck. Other than that it's fun. The combat is good.
Customization isn't that good either. you basically can be white, black, mexican or japanese. (Yes, japanese, not asian). But for the custom characters all of them of a particular race look near identical- and the thing to set them apart (Tattoos/art etc) is laughable at best. You can get tattoos but they're always tiny and awkwardly placed.
eh thats my 2 cents. I enjoy the game regardless.

Submissions are stupidly hard to pull off on the computer, yet the computer easily submits you and makes you tap..

You need good submission offense and defense; my boxing/bjj fighter has 103 offense and 99 defense. Submit people very easily, even computer.

great game, online sucks balls.
I've owned all my friends and wanted a clean online record so I just went online for the first time, I was Rashed and the other guy was Shogun. It was so ****ing laggy I couldn't get any shots off, or move out the way, so all he did was kick my head for 3 rounds. ****ing pissed. he was rubbish, clearly just button bashing and using the lag to his advantage
yes mad

Online is a pain when it's laggy. It's impossible to jab and put combos together. Online is a headkick-fest.

The forced retirement in career mode is a joke.
I'm 28-1 and have defended the title like 15 times. Yet I get the email from Dana saying I have another year before I'm forced into retirement. Kind of annoying

The online is getting stale quickly for me, the host rapidly takes gsp or anderson silva and in those 2 weight classes. So you fight the same fights over and over because if he takes gsp you are surely not gonna take matt arroyo.

enjoying making myself in career mode and working my way up.
i still suck at the ground game though, i mean i understand the whole major/minor transition thing but i dont understand the proper way to do reversals and the whole strategy behind it. So i try to keep it standing for the most part. Have extensive guides appeared online yet?
also alot of the tasks set by my judo trainer are pretty confusing

I guess the retirement cap is to avoid your CAF to be 100% at everything. Makes sense but still kind of blows. Wish they could cap the fighter off for online play but then allow you to continue until you get bored.
I'm also really annoyed with the online play. I lost wins due to connection issues.
