People lose atleast 5 pds of water their first week when going from a mod carb based diet to no carbs. See what your weightloss is looking like next week, you probably won't lose more then 3 pds.

First couple of weeks, you can lose up to 10lb of water, depending on how much muscle mass you have. Whatever you lose after that is fat, and is likely to be much slower.

This past week was my first week, I lost about 6-7lb which I'm assuming was water. So your saying that moving on into week 2 and foward it will be more concentrated on fat?

Almost certainly. If you bite the bullet and go cold turkey on carbs at the beginning, you should be well into ketosis by the end of the first week, and have lost the water weight. After that, you're losing fat.

You'll just piss more.
After a few weeks, ketostix stop working. Most people here know they are getting back into ketosis because they have a day spent peeing like a race horse, followed by a sudden drop of weight. That's the water weight disappearing.
Doesn't matter how much you drink, you can't stop that happening.
