Depends on total calories. On a keto I try to eat a gram of protein per pound of bodyweight, then make the rest up in fats and trace carbs.
1g protein = 4cals
1g carbs = 4 cals
1g fat = 8 cals
So I eat 180g of protein = 720 cals
20 trace carbs = 80 cals
Leaving me needing 1000 calories on an 1800 calorie per day keto diet.
125g fats = 1000 cals.
That formula is an approximation, but close enough to move forward with.
Of course you will have to figure it out differently on your carb cycle days.
My personal preference is a TKD over a CKD, but that's just me. Folks have great success with both.Last edited by Birddog6424; 05-22-2009 at 03:08 PM.
