    Knee Sleeves

Anyone have any recommendations as far as using some knee sleeves for squats? I am curious how many of you O lifters use knee sleeves and what a good brand would be.

I am currently on the Russian back squat routine which has you back squat MWF, and then we go up to a clean max single on the front squat Tuesday, Thursday to retain stand up strength for the C&J. Knees feel fine but they seem to take a bit longer than usual to warm up so I was wondering if some sleeves would provide some help.

Cheap fabric one will provide a little extra warmth, if that is all you need.

I will look into those, thanks for the link. A little bit more expensive than I like but I will keep them in mind.

the rehbands are real good for keeping your knee warm, the strongmen suggest a size below but for weightlifting/powerlifting you should keep the same size as you are.

I find the rehbands affect pulling under in the O-lifts so I try to limit or not use them in the lifts but for squats I find they're good for stability, I had a nasty bout with patellar tendonitis so I tend to think of that alot when squatting.

The rehbands are really good for warmth and stability, I haven't done much for olympic lifts so not sure what they are like when doing those. I use them mostly for squats (back/front/box) and some strong man training and they work very well.

They are a bit pricey, but definitely worth the $, I love them. Also, the original rehband knee sleeves have been discontinued and there will be new ones that will cost over $120 per sleeve... so the $33 or whatever the price is is pretty good and I've heard from a reliable source that the originals will probably only be around for another 2 years, if that

I've got the newer (gray) rehband sleeves and really like them. Eventually I'll probably get a pair of the blue ones.

Knee sleeves are a personal decision. These seem like they will be a little too heavy for weightlifting, but may be good for squats. At $25 it isn't too much of a gamble.
