BSN No Explode?

Is this bad to take if you're a girl? Or the BSN Syntha-6. What is the purpose of it? I was in GNC today and I see all these muscle building products and I don't know what to buy. Can anyone help?

I take NO XPlode and it's awesome; it gets you pumped up and allows you to work out for longer amounts of time.

Syntha-6 is good, too, but my personal favorite BSN protein is Lean Dessert. Yummy stuff.

NO-Explode is awesome for pre-workout energy . . . mixable and quick, no wait time whatsoever. Just stay away from the lemon-lime flavor . . . it's ick. Fruit Punch and Lemonade are my favorites. =]

instead of jumping into just buying things because you think you need them, you should really do some research of your own.

I use Lean Dessert and Syntha-6 and I love them. Their great post workout and they taste good...not as chalky as the others I've tried. No Explode is awesome for me because it's quick and easy and I can just mix and go. I would agree that you need to research for yourself and see what you like and what it does.

NOXplode is a good pre-workout supp, intended to open your blood vessels, allowing additional nutrients to fuel the muscles (creatine etc)
It's one of the best nitric-oxide supps available, in my opinion.

I've never had the chest tightness, headaches or dizziness that some others seem to get, BUT, the side effects / downsides for me are:

It's hard to drink - Sickly sweet with bitter after taste. I spend 5 mins after drinking it, trying to keep it down! It really is horrible.
Makes you pee - I hit the toilets at least 5 times during a workout.
At first, it gave me chronic diarrhea. But I seem to have gotten over that now.
Makes me sweat buckets!?!

The pros far outweight the cons but for me.

Great pumps.
Great energy.
Great motivation / focus.

I don't believe it would be any worse/better for women than it is for men.

I don't mind you asking at all. I take either NO XPlode or Nitric Force before long weight training sessions, unless I don't have either available. Then, I just drink an energy drink (Sugar Free Amp is a good one for me -- enough energy for my workout but not so much that I'm jittery and shaky). Post-workout, I make sure I have some sort of whey protein -- usually either AdvantEDGE Carb Control, EAS 100% whey protein, or this hard-to-find fruity drink thing CytoSport makes with 100% whey protein. It's green, says tropical flavor, tastes kind of like pina colada, has 160 calories, 0 sugar, 0 fat, and 40g protein. My gym sells it, but I haven't seen it anywhere else.

Sometimes, I have BSN Lean Dessert or MuscleMilk post-workout, but I prefer those two either as a snack or before bed, as they're compound proteins.

Are you preparing for a contest, just trying to lean out, gain muscle, or what?

I love N.O. explode, its my favorite pre- workout sup.! I think it taste good....all flavors. If you get diareaha it means you took to much, what your body doesn't absorb it "eliminates". Start with 1/2 scoop. Good luck!

Ya I drink the EAS 100% whey protien, I love it! I drink "extreme NOS pumped" before my workout and during and then a protien shake after. My x boyfriend is into bodybuilding so I've picked up a lot from him as far as what to do and things to take but we don't really talk anymore so now that we are broke up I wanted to start bettering my health and my appearance. But now I also have a lot of questions that he's not here to answer lol soooo here I am

I used to be into bodybuilding when I was like 18 and I got out of it because of laziness. But now I'm back into it and more addicted than ever.

No contest yet, maybe in the future though. I don't think I'm at that level yet. But I'm working hard for it.

i am a huge fan of syntha-6, for blended proteins. i tried mm light and didn't really like it that much, but once i tried syntha-6 i was sold, the only thing is that i cut the scoops in half if i blend w/skim milk, but syntha6 tastes great w/water too so i use a full scoop there.

I love syntha-6... love love love it! I have tried various proteins but its the only one I have ever come across that smoothly mixes. I get the vanilla and mix it with a g2 after a workout - very very very yummy!

Lean dessert is great - I am out now but I used to get the chocolate and mix it with plain yogurt and fresh berries for my evening snack. So delicious!

Have not tried no-explode. My gym has it in the vending machine. Would it be okay to use on cardio days or weight train only?

I had a sample pack of blue razz Xplode and had a hard time getting it down, tasted awful, and I also didn't feel a thing from it, no pump, or energy boost. Now I do seem to have a very high tolerance to caffeine, but I regularly take SuperPump, and through I don't get much of an energy boost from it either, I do get amazing pumps, and good focus. Everyone is different, what works for one, doesn't work for another.
